It's been a busy week for me so far, when I should really be doing my
income taxes.

Posted recently have been:

A three-way collaboration between Michael Grost, Mary Reed and myself on an
article on Mary Roberts Rinehart's character "The Bat."

The latest installment of Mike Nevins' column, in which he speaks of
Christianna Brand, GAD stories in EQMM, and Jacques Barzun, who will be 100
this year.

While all obituaries are sad news, the death of Lelia Kelly at only 48 is
sadder than most. She wasn't a GAD author, but you can read more about her at .

Coming up soon, my take on one of Brian Flynn's detective thrillers from
the 1940s.
